Things you can do in general...
- Don't encourage breeding of wolfdogs by purchasing them.
Adopt a wolfdog instead, if laws in your area permit it.
If adoption is not an option, then provide support with your finances and time.
- Research what it takes to own a wolfdog.
Wolfdogs can live well over 15 years.
Be willing to commit to caring for this animal for his lifetime.
Be willing to change your lifestyle.
- Support reputable wolf/wolfdog rescue groups and sanctuaries financially.
Responsible sanctuaries provide appropriate diet and vet care, which is very expensive.
- Educate those around you who may be considering 'owning' a wolf or wolfdog.
Education is the only hope to ending the wolfdog crisis.
How you can help Freedom's Song...
Freedom's Song is accepting donations that will be used for everything related to our rescue and sanctuary, including educational activities and accruing financial resources to begin building habitats as soon as land is acquired. During this interim, we will help other organizations with rescues in any way we can.
You can help by donating finances, supplies (specific fencing material, lumber, stainless steel feeding bowls, stock tanks, etc.) and time.
