Freedom's Song Wolf Rescue and Sanctuary

Why a wolf sanctuary?

In the entire state of Oklahoma, there is not one wolf sanctuary. There are some exotic animal sanctuaries that have some wolves and wolfdogs, but not a sanctuary devoted totally to wolves and wolfdogs. There is a dire need in this state for Freedom's Song Wolf Rescue & Sanctuary.

For example, one nearby rehab facility for native species (mostly woodland creatures) receives an average of 25 calls annually from individuals needing to place wolves/wolfdogs. This facility is not equipped for this purpose and so refers these calls to other organizations. This is just one facility! (The founder and manager of this facility, Annette King-Tucker, has a heart as big as the universe, but her supply of resources is not. Although Annette's facility is not designed for wolf rescue, this was one situation where timing was critical, and she just 'couldn't not' help. Meeting Koda cemented our determination to begin this wolf/wolfdog rescue.)
